Complete Skateboards
Complete skateboards are sold by dozens of companies and in hundreds of varieties. Complete boards generally include the deck, trucks, wheels, and bearings; and are sold assembled and ready to ride. However, the type and quality of components can vary from company to company.
If you’re new to skateboarding, buying complete skateboards is the way to go. In most cases these pre-packaged deals are less expensive than trying to buy the individual parts separately. Plus, they can take the guess work out of trying to decide which components you want or need to buy.
For more experienced skaters, complete skateboards are often built rather than purchased as a packaged item. Most skate shops will offer a variety of components, which makes it easy to build a board that is customized for the rider. Wheels, bearings and trucks can be assembled in hundreds of different combinations.
